Join our Corporate Trustee Services team as an Associate, supporting the operational governance and administration of managed investment schemes and client structures.
We are seeking an Associate, Operations & Oversight to join our Corporate Trustee Services team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Fund Operations, this role plays a key part in supporting the operational oversight, governance and administration of managed investment schemes and client structures. Working closely with fund managers, custodians, service providers and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure operational activities are delivered efficiently, regulatory obligations are met and clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate custody account openings, maintenance requests and operational workflows for managed funds.
- Support the onboarding and establishment of managed investment schemes and client structures.
- Manage ongoing operational requirements, including market account renewals, regulatory registrations, tax documentation and tax reclaims.
- Coordinate fund-related payments and operational activities within agreed service standards.
- Act as a key point of contact for operational queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring service provider performance and following up outstanding operational matters.
- Maintain procedure documentation and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Support operational risk management activities, including incident identification, escalation and remediation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, legislation and risk management frameworks.
What You'll Need to Succeed - Experience within financial services, ideally in fund administration, custody, trustee services or investment operations.
- Understanding of managed funds and financial market operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance operational processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business will be highly regarded.
