You'll contribute to meaningful cyber security activites from day one, developing practical skills across a range of security disciplines while helping protect EQT's systems, data, and services. What you'll do:
- Monitor and triage security alerts, assist with incident investigations, and support evidence collection and documentation under the guidance of the Cyber Security team
- Support vulnerability management activities including reviewing outputs, updating tracking registers, and following up on remediation progress
- Assist with identity and access reviews, privileged access tracking, and maintaining accurate registers for service accounts and integrations
- Support the day-to-day operation of security tools including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, and vulnerability management platforms
- Prepare and maintain cyber security documentation, registers, and evidence to support audits, awareness campaigns, and operational activities
- Participate in training, certifications, and on-the-job learning to build capability across multiple cyber security domains
What you'll need to succeed: - A genuine interest in cyber security, information security, or technology risk, with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Foundational knowledge of IT concepts including networks, systems, cloud, identity, or applications
- Exposure to or understanding of Microsoft environments (M365, Azure, Windows) is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow structured processes
- Good communication skills with a collaborative, team-first approach when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A tertiary qualification (completed or in progress) in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline; entry-level certifications such as SC-900, CompTIA Security+, or ISC2 CC are a bonus
