We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, CTS Investment Governance to play a pivotal role in establishing, developing and operating a centralised investment governance function for CTS. Reporting to the Head of Investment Governance, you will provide subject matter expertise across managed fund investment governance, uplift key risk and product frameworks, and contribute to the maturity of EQT's oversight model as a leading Responsible Entity.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a specialist, hands-on environment and enjoys engaging with investment managers, advisors, Boards and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and challenge product design and key characteristics of managed funds across asset classes.
- Develop and uplift product risk standards, risk measurement methodologies and investable holding frameworks.
- Establish and monitor TMD triggers, including fund performance oversight.
- Oversee fund liquidity management, mandate monitoring and scenario analysis.
- Review and critique asset valuations, particularly unlisted and illiquid assets.
- Own and enhance key governance policies, including valuation and liquidity frameworks.
- Build strong relationships with investment managers, providing professional challenge and guidance.
- Prepare clear, concise reporting for Boards, Committees and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Succeed - 10+ years' experience in managed funds, investment governance or related oversight roles.
- Deep understanding of Trustee/Responsible Entity obligations and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge across multiple asset classes and product structures.
- Experience with TMDs, valuations, liquidity, derivatives and/or hedge funds (advantageous).
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including Board‑level reporting.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics or Business; CFA preferred.
