Reporting to the Head of Custody, you will support a range of government energy infrastructure projects, including the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap and potential future roles in the energy sector. This role gives you exposure to both client facing and operational work, supporting the Head of Custody.

About the Role
- Support the Head of Custody with day‑to‑day management across key government energy infrastructure portfolios.
- Assist with document negotiation, preparation, and execution.
- Process payments, reimbursables and support annual budget preparation, client reporting, and audit obligations.
- Provide diligent operational support including data management, safekeeping of documents and adherence to onboarding requirements.
- Respond to client queries promptly, delivering an exceptional and accurate service experience.
- Liaise with internal teams (legal, finance, co‑sec) and external stakeholders including Boards, Government bodies and professional advisers.
- Contribute to regulatory and compliance obligations, including internal control testing and remaining up‑to‑date with relevant legislative changes.
- Support continuous process improvement to ensure efficient and consistent delivery across all custody appointments.
What You Need - Experience in financial services (minimum 2 years), ideally within funds management, custody, trustee services, or similar environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical capability.
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience advantageous.
- A proactive, flexible and client‑focused approach to work.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Law.
