About the Role
As an Estate Planning Lawyer, you'll work closely with clients to deliver clear, practical and high‑quality estate planning solutions. You'll guide clients through the process from initial appointment through to signing, helping them feel confident and cared for at every step.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct client appointments and manage the end‑to‑end estate planning process
- Prepare estate planning documents including simple Wills, complex Wills (including testamentary discretionary trust Wills), Enduring Powers of Attorney and Advance Care Directives
- Review draft documents for accuracy and clarity
- Respond to client questions in a timely and approachable manner
- Identify opportunities where fiduciary or trustee services may support client outcomes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Philanthropy, Advice and other teams
- Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement activities

What You Need - A tertiary qualification in Law and admission to legal practice
- Experience in estate planning, or a private practice background with exposure to Wills & Estates
- Strong technical understanding of estate planning fundamentals and relevant legislation
- Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport and explain legal concepts clearly
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn
- A Master of Laws in Wills & Estates will be highly regarded (but not required)
