We're seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage our regulatory affairs program within the Enterprise Risk team. This is a pivotal role that ensures our business remains at the forefront of compliance and governance in a complex, evolving regulatory landscape.
 
About the Role
As Senior Manager - Regulatory Engagement and Change, you will:

• Implement and manage our regulatory strategy in partnership with the Head of Compliance and Chief Risk Officer.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting the Group, advising on implications, overseeing implementation and providing governance updates.
• Work with the business, Head of Compliance and GM Enterprise Risk to ensure changing obligations and controls are reflected in GRC systems
• Prepare regulatory updates and briefings for Boards, Committees, clients, and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory notices and requests from APRA, ASIC, OAIC, , and other bodies.
• In conjunction with the Compliance Advisory team, provide regulatory advice across internal projects and initiatives Identify and implement opportunities to uplift governance and compliance frameworks.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, influencing outcomes and building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

• Significant experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance roles within financial services.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and ability to navigate complex issues.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Tertiary qualifications in Law highly valued.
