We are currently seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk team. Reporting to the General Manager – Enterprise Risk, this role plays a key part in strengthening Equity Trustees’ risk capability by supporting the execution of our Line 2 control assurance program and helping to ensure that risks and controls are effectively identified, assessed, and managed across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform risk assurance processes, including independent testing and sample reviews
• Support oversight of risk and control profiles, and actions captured in the GRC system
• Collate and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) into risk committees and management
• Assist with preparation of risk committee reports and other risk-related documentation
• Contribute to the enhancement of the GRC system and broader enterprise risk data quality
• Work collaboratively with business units to provide constructive challenge, support, and continuous improvement

  
What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce or related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in controls assurance, testing, or risk/compliance
• Experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to funds management, asset management, or superannuation
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong working relationships
• A collaborative mindset with curiosity and a continuous improvement approach
