Based in our Sydney office, this permanent, full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in compliance while contributing to the ongoing success of one of Australia's most trusted financial services companies.
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you'll support the implementation of Equity Trustees' enterprise-wide Compliance Management Framework, playing a pivotal role in strengthening our risk and compliance culture. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of regulatory and business activities, and to develop a strong foundation in compliance, risk management, and governance.  

About the Role:

• Full-time, permanent role based in Sydney, with flexible working options
• Support the update of compliance management plans, policies, training, and monitoring activities
• Manage compliance registers, attestations, incidents, and remediation processes
• Assist in preparing reports for senior management, boards and regulators
• Contribute to embedding and continuously improving compliance frameworks, policies, and tools
• Collaborate across the business to support effective risk and compliance management

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Tertiary qualification in Law, Business, or Risk Management (or equivalent experience)
• Some exposure to compliance or risk management (2-3 years in financial services preferred)
• Experience in funds or investment management is highly regarded
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• A genuine willingness to learn and develop within compliance and risk
