We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us to provide support to performing Custodial Operations across our CTS Fund Services, CTS Structured Finance and the Corporate Trust & Securitisation client bases.

About the role:

• Utilise systems such as Garradin, NavOne, Austraclear, CHESS, Excel and various banking portals to support operational and transactional processes
• Process bank payments and reconciliations
• Complete AUD transactions for both domestic and international beneficiaries
• Oversee loan obligations and interest repayments through the clearing house
• Manage corporate actions and calculate fund accruals for distribution purposes
• Perform a variety of ad-hoc tasks and lodgements
• Assist with due diligence processes, quarterly service reviews and annual controls reporting
• Provide accurate and timely data to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure all payments and trades are authorised and processed within deal and system cut-off times
• Manage CTS’ transactional relationships with banks and Austraclear
• Maintain organised records and files in accordance with established procedures
• Contribute to a strong team environment focused on delivering successful outcomes

What you need to succeed:

• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly within custodial operations, is highly regarded
• Strong data entry experience
• Proven experience with banking operations and reconciliations
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and be able to cope with a variety of tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with working knowledge of systems such as Garradin, NavOne, Austraclear, CHESS, banking portals and other investment or trust management platforms
• Ability to work with a wide range of people and strong communication skills
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and process optimisation
• Knowledge of SWIFT formatting and international payment flows (well regarded)
• A minimum of 2 years experience in payment operations or a similar role
