We're seeking a Principal Design Engineer to be our most senior technical expert in product design and engineering. You'll solve complex design challenges, drive next-generation product development, influence engineering strategy, and set the standards that define our products.

What you'll do

• Lead complex product design and engineering initiatives
• Drive innovation and future product platform development
• Develop manufacturable solutions using SolidWorks
• Improve product performance, reliability and cost efficiency
• Shape engineering standards, methods and best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams
• Support design reviews and major engineering projects
• Partner with Manufacturing, Product and Compliance teams
• Influence technology roadmaps and strategic decisions

About you

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Extensive product design experience in manufacturing
• Advanced SolidWorks and product development expertise
• Strong knowledge of DFM, DFMEA, validation and reliability
• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges
• Experience influencing technical decisions and strategy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for innovation, quality and continuous improvement
