This is a commercially led role focused on winning and managing public sector cleaning contracts. You’ll shape strategy, lead negotiations, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Bid Manager and Head of BD. Real ownership. Real results. No bureaucracy.

We’re working with a fast-scaling FM provider, backed by a global player with almost 100,000 employees around the world.

They specialise in soft FM across sectors like healthcare, education, construction, and government.

With sights set on 10x growth over the next 5 years, they move fast and keep things lean. You’ll join a tight-knit, focused team with big ambitions, clear direction, and zero fluff.

The Commercial Manager will:

• Lead the full commercial side of bids - from strategy to award and mobilisation
• Own client conversations early - building partnerships before the contract lands
• Negotiate pricing, risk, and terms to build sustainable long-term deals
• Spot and grow opportunities within existing contracts

• Direct line to decision-makers - real influence
• Scale-up pace - no red tape, just action
• Remote first setup - mix of home and client meetings with occasional travel into the office
• Clear progression - build and lead the commercial function
• Backed to grow - well-funded, stable, and ambitious

• 5+ years in FM, commercial, or BD roles – public sector focus essential
• Strong grasp of pricing, margin, and risk in public contracts
• Experience on FM contracts £500k+ (cleaning ideal)
