Bid Manager - Grounds Maintenance
Up to £65,000
Northamptonshire (3 days office / 2 remote)
Lead the bids function and manage a small in-house team

We’re working with a national grounds maintenance provider - part of the world’s largest home services group. 

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on writing, winning, and managing people.

You’ll oversee all live bid submissions, develop team capability, and act as a strategic point of contact across the business.

The Bid Manager will:

• Lead end-to-end management of tenders, from planning to submission
• Oversee and quality-check all written content and reports
• Line-manage two bid writers with a focus on performance and development
• Act as the central point of contact for tender stakeholders across the business
• Drive consistency, process, and continuous improvement across all submissions

Essential Skills:

• Strong bid writing background (no industry experience needed)
• Solid understanding of tenders, PQQs, and public sector procurement
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team
• Sharp attention to detail and high standards for written content
• Comfortable engaging at all levels—internal and external
