BD Manager - Grounds Maintenance
£50,000 – £55,000 + Car/CA + £5,000 bonus
Midlands, field and home based
Travel heavy role supporting franchise growth

We’re working with a major UK name in commercial grounds maintenance - part of one of the world’s largest home services group.

This is a strategic role. You’ll be the link between head office and local franchisees, driving profitability, operational excellence, and growth in the Midlands.

There’s travel involved - field and remote-based.

You’ll be a core player in helping these businesses scale.

The Business Development Manager will:

• Work directly with franchisees to coach, support, and improve business performance
• Analyse P&Ls, spot issues early, and create plans to increase efficiency and profitability
• Drive territory growth by providing tools, training, and hands-on support in the field
• Collaborate with directors to execute regional strategy and unlock new revenue
• Travel extensively to build relationships and lead from the front

Essential Skills:

• Strong background in sales or business development (grounds maintenance is a must).
• Experience supporting multiple business units or franchises.
• Commercial acumen - comfortable analysing numbers and building action plans.
• Confident communicator, ready to lead change and challenge the status quo.
• Happy to travel 80% of the time.
