Salary: £140,000 + package
Location: Hybrid (Essex; office 1-2 days, remote 3-4 days)

Our client is expanding its market presence and scaling operations within the façade sector. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative, high-profile projects, they are now looking for a Head of Business Development to drive strategic growth. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role, shape the company's direction, and own the full BD strategy for large-scale projects.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and execute the business development strategy, securing major façade projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry professionals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Work closely with Bid and Preconstruction teams to align BD with project delivery.
• Manage long-cycle sales processes, from first contact to contract award.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the BD team, driving high performance.

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in BD within construction or façade industries.
• Proven track record in securing high-value contracts.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Deep industry knowledge, with the ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders.
• A strategic, results-driven mindset with a passion for growth.
