Our client is one of the largest independent Auto Parts manufacturer in the Milwaukee area with 800+ employees. They're investing in their finance function, and this role sits at the center of that build.
As Manager of Inventory & Cost Accounting, you'll own and develop the cost accounting function from the ground up: establishing standard costing methodologies, governing BOM/BOR processes, and creating the margin transparency this organization needs to scale. You'll mentor a Cost Accountant and serve as the primary finance partner to Operations leadership across inventory accuracy, cycle count validation, and new product launches.
Day to day, that means overseeing standard vs. actual cost performance, delivering monthly gross margin reporting by product line, customer, and location, and building Power BI dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into cost drivers and inventory health. You'll own the Infor Syteline ERP cost and inventory modules and design scalable reporting and controls appropriate for a growing manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for a manufacturing finance professional who thrives at the intersection of accounting and operations. You'll collaborate across Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain — and your work will directly shape how the organization understands its profitability.
