Communications Operations & Planning Manager, Regulatory

Our client is a global online marketplace platform seeking a Communications Operations & Planning Manager to join their Regulatory Communications team on a 12-month contract.

Location: Toronto, ON
Work model: Hybrid (2–3 days/week in office)

This role centres on developing regulatory messaging frameworks and overseeing communication planning for global seller communications. It requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, and Customer Experience. The ideal candidate will bring structure, clarity, and innovation to how complex regulatory updates are communicated.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage regulatory messaging frameworks and terminology databases
• Create, edit, and localize content including emails, FAQs, scripts, and videos
• Oversee planning and execution of global regulatory communication campaigns
• Manage approval workflows, version control, and campaign readiness
• Align messaging across all seller-facing channels and stakeholders
• Collaborate with teams across Europe and North America to ensure consistent delivery
• Support process improvement and explore AI-driven content tools

Requirements

• 5–7 years in communications, content operations, or project management
• Bachelor’s in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
• Experience with regulatory or compliance-related content is ideal
• Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
• Skilled in stakeholder management and project coordination
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Slack, and project management tools
• English fluency; German or another European language is a plus
• Comfortable working across multiple time zones
