About the Role
Reporting to the National Technical Sales Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for generating leads for the National Sales team in order to help build a solid pipeline of relevant project opportunities. This is the perfect steppingstone into a BDM role. 
   
   
Your Duties

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls.
• Convert inbound call enquiries into leads.
• Build relationships with engineers and architects identified as key influencers in the company relevant projects.
• Call upon builder/developer, discussing the technical and financial benefits of the company products and convert the discussions into leads.
• Ensure all potential leads are managed in CRM with relevant notes added so that once converted into a firm lead the Account Manager / BDM understands in full all details.

  
Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role.
• Some knowledge of the building/construction industry an advantage.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high level of confidence.
• Strong listening, negotiating and presentation skills.
• High interpersonal skills with ability to relate to all levels of an organisation.
