Excellent opportunity for an AAT Part Qualified/Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established, market leading £45m t/o residential/private healthcare business based near Warrington. Reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the Management accountant alongside 4 Accounts Assistants and 2 PL Controllers, your remit will include:  

• Monthly Management Accounts preparation
• Multisite P&L analysis
• Variance Analysis – with narrative
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Accruals and prepayments
• Month end journals
• Intercompany reconciliation
• Nominal Ledger review
• Income and Cost analysis & reporting
• Preparation of debtor report and assisting with credit control when required
• Hands on support to sales ledger & purchase ledger as required (e.g. holiday cover)
• Office administration, including answering incoming calls.  

Applicants will be experienced Assistant Accounts with experience across most, if not all, of the bullet points above. The Finance Manager is flexible re applicants having finance qualifications as she considers personality, experience and previous supervisory experience the most important things she is looking for although AAT Part Qualified applicants will be of particular interest. With there already being a Part Qualified CIMA Management Accountant in the team, candidates who are mid/later CIMA or ACCA are likely to be overqualified for the level/remit of this role and what’s required to compliment the profile of the team, hence them looking PQ or Qualified AAT.

Onsite parking. 0900-1700 Monday to Friday with some flex re start and wend times around core hours. 4:1 Office;Home Hybrid working - after a probation/settling in period. Applicants must have full and indefinite eligibility to work in the UK (through being a UK citizen or having gained ILR) and should live within a sensible commute of Warrington.
