Outstanding Finance Business Partner opportunity with a rapidly expanding, £25m t/o Engineering/Construction business that’s on track to grow to £100m t/o by 2030 (through organic and acquisitive growth). Reporting to the FC and managing a team of 2 AAT/CIMA PQ Accounts Assistants, your remit will include:
- Lead on Financial, Commercial and Strategic liaison between finance and various operational teams/senior management across the Groups UK business units.
- Providing financial insight and direction to help Operations Managers make informed commercial decisions and to help drive performance.
- Project/Work in Progress analysis and reporting.
- Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Financial Planning.
- Sales & Margin Analysis/reporting.
- Cost centre analysis/reporting.
- Assist with the development of a modern KPI dashboard suite to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Monitoring business performance, identifying and highlighting any risks and opportunities.
- Project Pricing and Bid/Tender support.
- Supporting investment appraisals and business case scenario modelling.
Applicants will preferably be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA, although later stage active studiers with the relevant experience will also be considered. As a proven Finance Business Partner, you will have the commercial acumen, gravitas and personality required to forge strong relationships with management/stakeholders at all level to board level and a hunger to add value and make a difference. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business in a role offering the opportunity to develop and take on further responsibility in time. A salary of £45-50k is complimented with benefits including 25 days holiday, 3% Pension, Healthcare and on-site parking. This role is office based (no hybrid) but with flexitime around core hours. Applicants must have full and indefinite eligibility to work in the UK (through being a UK citizen or having gained ILR) and must live within a sensible commute of Warrington.
