Are you a Part or Fully Qualified AAT Financial Accountant looking for a role with study support and the opportunity to develop and take on more Management Accounting and analysis/ reporting responsibility to compliment your current/further studies? This is an excellent opportunity with a £25m t/o rapidly expanding e-commerce business in Merseyside in a new role created due to to ongoing company growth. Reporting to the Finance Manager and (dotted line to) the Finance Director your remit will include:  

• Accruals & Prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Purchase Ledger
• Sales Ledger
• Credit Control
• Supporting compliance (international transactions)  

In addition to this the role will develop to include supporting the month end close, the preparation of monthly management accounts (XERO), variance analysis and sales & margin analysis reporting. Depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant these areas could be included from the outset or in time.

Our client is ideally looking for someone AAT part or fully qualified or actively working towards CIMA or ACCA previous experience in the areas above. They are also looking for excellent communication skill, the ability to build good business relationships and to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the best possible results. A salary of £32-£35k (possibly a little flexibility) is complemented with good benefits including Study support (fees and study leave), Flexitime, Hybrid working (1 day WFH per week), 5% Pension and onsite parking.
