Are you a Part Qualified or Qualified Management Accountant stagnating in a role offering no prospects for development and progression? This is an excellent Management Accountant opportunity with a well-established civil engineering business based on the outskirts of Warrington in a role with a clearly defined path to being promoted to Financial Controller. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the group and its subsidiaries
• Variance analysis and commentary for review by the Group FC
• Finance Business Partnering
• Project / Work in Progress reporting
• Supporting with Budgeting and Forecasting
• Cash flow forecasting
• Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Lead on cost control initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• VAT Returns
• Assisting with system improvements and process automation
• Managing a small finance team (Ledger level)

Applicants will ideally be ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified - or later stage studiers actively working towards full qualification – although non-qualified finance professional with the relevant experience will also be considered. Salary to £45k (Possibly some flexibility) with benefits including 3% pension, 21 days holidays, 0830-1700, onsite parking. Applicants from both industry and practice will be considered.
