We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Manager/Operations Manager for a leading, rapidly expanding (£50m+ t/o) company operating in the agriculture sector. In a new role created to consolidate areas including Financial Management/Control, Commercial, Operational, HR and HSE requirements of the business, this is key role pivotal to lead on meeting the evolving operational demands of the business as well as driving growth. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors your remit will include:  

• Developing and Modernising the Accounting and Financial Reporting processes and resources
• Business Partnering with the Board to help drive business growth.
• Strategic Business Planning.
• Supporting the growth of the business through expansion into new revenue areas
• Cash Management
• Financial Modelling.
• Staff Management (Team of 4).
• Lead for Human Resources.
• Lead for Health and Safety.
• Customer Relationship Management.  

Applicants will be General Mangers/Operation Managers/Commercial Managers with previous experience across the areas summarised above. Salary £45-60k (Possibly some flexibility) with benefits including pension, 20 days holidays.
