Outstanding Management Accountant opportunity for an experienced AAT, CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified Accountant to join a global market leading £35m t/o Manufacturer based near Chester. Reporting directly to the FC – working as the number 2 in a small finance team - your duties will include:  

• Monthly Management Accounts, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Variance Analysis – with narrative on results
• Hands on management of the Purchase and Sales Ledger function
• Credit Control
• VAT
• Fixed Assets
• Supporting the FC with year-end accounts preparation
• Supporting the Budgeting and Forecasting process
• Assisting with audit preparation
• Ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance
• Business Partnering - Working closely with various departments to support them with decision-making and achieving financial goals
• Project / Work in Progress reporting
• Cost analysis
• Accrual and prepayments
• Bank reconciliation
• Inter-company reconciliations  

Applicants will be experienced Accountants with previous experience in the areas summarised above – gained within an SME engineering/manufacturing environment. You will have good communication skills, will be familiar with Sage 50 and will have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for complex spreadsheet management). This is an excellent opportunity to in a business expanding at a rate of 30% year on year, reporting to an impressive FC well placed to assist you in gaining full CIMA or ACCA qualification (although non studiers with the relevant experience will also be considered). Salary to £35k (To max £40k) depending on experience, 23 days hols, 3% pension, Study Support, Good development/progression prospects, onsite parking. 100% office based (no hybrid) but with an early Friday finish.
