Our client, a national leader in specialty contracting and mechanical insulation services, is seeking a General Manager to lead and grow its Oil & Gas Mechanical Insulation Division across the United States.
This is a unique opportunity to step into an established mechanical insulation business serving the Oil & Gas industry, working alongside a long-tenured industry leader as part of a planned succession. You'll assume ownership of an existing national portfolio while helping expand the company's offerings through energy assessments and strategic growth initiatives.
This leadership role combines estimating, business development, project management, operations, and financial oversight for mechanical insulation projects serving refineries, compressor stations, pipelines, and other industrial Oil & Gas facilities. Beyond managing projects, you'll lead the overall performance of the business—overseeing operations, profitability, customer relationships, and strategic growth initiatives for the division. You'll serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle—from identifying opportunities and developing estimates through project execution, billing, and closeout—while helping shape the future of an established national business.
The ideal candidate has a background in mechanical insulation within industrial construction, particularly supporting Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, power generation, or similar process industries. They understand how to estimate and manage mechanical insulation projects, build lasting customer relationships, and are excited by the opportunity to lead and grow an established national business.
If you're looking for the opportunity to take ownership of an established national business, build on long-standing customer relationships, and play a key role in shaping the future growth of a respected mechanical insulation contractor, we encourage you to apply!
