Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of custom-engineered equipment for the aerospace industry, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their Flight Training Simulator Division in Southampton, PA.
You’ll work on one-of-a-kind flight simulators used by commercial aerospace, military, and government clients worldwide. These highly customized, technically complex projects involve hands-on electrical assembly, wiring, and support for site start-up and installation.
This role is ideal for someone with wiring harness, cable, or panel-building experience who enjoys troubleshooting and repairing low-voltage electrical components such as switches, motor starters, and other control systems. You’ll work closely with engineering and production teams, supporting installations both in the shop and in the field, including international travel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, wire, and test control panels, harnesses, and system interconnections according to schematics.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in low-voltage systems, including switches, motor starters, transformers, and control panels.
- Support site start-ups, commissioning, and field installations domestically and internationally.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics; identify and correct wiring or schematic errors.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and field teams to ensure smooth system integration.
- Document service reports, change notes, and installation records.
- Train under senior technicians with the goal of assuming Lead Technician responsibilities.
Requirements: - 4+ years of hands-on electrical experience with wiring harnesses, cables, or panel building.
- Experience assembling electrical systems for custom or industrial machinery
- Electrical schematic-reading, wiring, and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally (3-4 trips/year for ~3 weeks per trip).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Rate: 25-28/hr + overtime + travel bonus
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Southampton, PA (Onsite)
Travel: International travel 3-4x a year required
