Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of custom-engineered equipment for the Aerospace industry, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their Flight Training Simulator Division in Southampton, PA.
The company builds one-of-a-kind flight training simulators used by clients worldwide, including military and government organizations. Projects are technically complex, highly customized, and involve hands-on electrical assembly, wiring, and installation. Every assignment offers variety and the opportunity to work directly on mission-critical systems.
In this position, you’ll train directly under the current Lead Electrician and be positioned to step into a leadership role over time. The role involves both shop and some field work, including international travel, with hands-on work with complex electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and wire control components, panels, harnesses, and system interconnections for flight simulators according to schematics.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical faults (low-voltage wiring, transformers, control panels, slip rings, and related subsystems).
- Support site start-ups, commissioning, and field installations both domestic and international.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics; find and correct wiring or schematic errors.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and field teams to ensure smooth installations and system integration.
- Document service reports, change notes, and installation records.
- Train under senior technician with the intent to assume Lead Technician responsibilities in the future.
Requirements: - 5+ years hands-on electrical experience working with industrial custom equipment.
- Electrical schematic-reading, wiring, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience assembling and wiring control panels and electrical assemblies.
- Willingness to travel internationally (3-4 trips/year for ~3 weeks per trip).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Rate: $30-$34/hr + overtime + travel bonus
Total Compensation: Approximate 82,700- $93,700 annually Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Southampton, PA (Onsite)
Travel: International travel 3-4x a year required
