Our client, a growing distributor of specialty metals, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Bensalem, PA.
This is an inbound sales role focused on maintaining and growing relationships with an established customer base. You’ll be the primary point of contact for customers, managing initial inquiries through to product delivery. Handling approximately 100 orders per month and generating 200-300 quotes monthly, you’ll respond to inbound quote requests, speak with customers, create purchase orders, and track orders to ensure a seamless experience.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking with clients over the phone, has strong basic math skills for product quoting (percentages, markups, scrap rates), proficiency in navigating ERP and CRM systems, and a customer service mindset to handle requests efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to all inbound inquiries and requests for quotes in a timely manner, generating 200-300 inbound quotes monthly.
- Manage order processing for approximately 100 orders per month, including creating purchase orders (POs).
- Call new and existing customers to provide updates, answer questions, and strengthen relationships to ensure future sales.
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing customers, understanding their business needs to ensure timely and repeat business.
- Monitor inventory levels for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including production and suppliers, to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Address customer inquiries and provide solutions for order changes, returns, and quality concerns.
- Analyze sales data to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Work closely with outside sales and management to develop and implement sales strategies.
Requirements: - 2+ years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience with product quoting and generating pricing.
- Basic proficiency in Excel
- Strong mathematical skills (percentages, division, multiplication)
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
- High level of integrity and customer service mindset.
- Familiarity with the Sandler Sales Methodology is a plus
Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 + annual bonus up to 25%.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8-5pm
Location: Bensalem, PA (Onsite w/ potential for hybrid after training period).
