Our client, a leading custom equipment manufacturer specializing in robotic and automated air blast resurfacing systems, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Langhorne, PA!
In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative 10-person engineering team, to design and detail large-scale industrial equipment from concept to completion. You'll create new designs and drawings within Autodesk Inventor, contributing to the development of cutting-edge electro-mechanical machinery and automation systems.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience with 3D CAD modeling & designing for automation or electro-mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components for automated industrial equipment using Autodesk Inventor.
- Evaluate customer design proposals for feasibility, cost, and maintenance.
- Specify system components or recommend modifications to meet design standards.
- Create manufacturing drawings, including fabricated weldments and machined components such as frames, shafts, and clutches.
- Collaborate with vendors for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly.
- Work with system engineers and production team to resolve malfunctions and provide technical support.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer in a manufacturing environment, preferably with custom machinery, robotics, or automation.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross functionally
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8a-5pm (flexible start time)
