As we continue to grow our Cloud Security & Solutions practice, we're seeking an experienced Lead Consultant – Amazon Connect to lead the design, delivery and optimisation of modern customer experience solutions built on AWS.
This is a highly visible consulting role where you'll work directly with customers, architects, engineers and delivery teams to shape cloud-first contact centre and customer engagement solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
The Opportunity
As a Lead Consultant, you'll be responsible for leading Amazon Connect engagements from discovery and solution design through to implementation, optimisation and customer adoption.
You'll provide technical leadership across AWS customer experience platforms, working closely with clients to understand their requirements, develop scalable cloud architectures and deliver successful outcomes.
You'll also play an important role in supporting pre-sales activities, mentoring technical teams and helping evolve CyberCX's Amazon Connect capability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the design and delivery of Amazon Connect solutions for enterprise and government customers
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to understand business and technical requirements
- Design scalable, secure and resilient AWS-based customer experience solutions
- Provide technical leadership across implementation, migration and transformation projects
- Support pre-sales activities including solution design, demonstrations and customer presentations
- Work closely with engineering, DevOps, application development and operational teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Drive automation and CI/CD practices to improve deployment consistency and efficiency
- Develop high-quality architecture, design and implementation documentation
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex customer environments
- Contribute to the development of standards, frameworks and best practices across the Amazon Connect practice
- Identify opportunities to expand customer value through additional AWS and cloud services
About You You'll bring a strong combination of consulting, cloud and customer experience technology expertise, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience designing and delivering Amazon Connect solutions within enterprise environments
- Strong AWS implementation, migration and cloud architecture experience
- Hands-on experience supporting and deploying applications within AWS
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting technologies such as CloudFormation, PowerShell or Bash
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Strong technical documentation and solution design capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills
- Experience leading technical discussions, workshops and solution presentations
- Experience implementing and maintaining AWS controls aligned to relevant compliance standards and frameworks, such as SOC2, PCI DSS, IRAP, or internal security policies
- AWS certifications or a strong commitment to ongoing certification and professional development
