Position Summary
The Director is responsible for shaping and leading S&C's strategy and commercial success in the state, in direct support of the Executive Director. This is achieved through leadership and management of S&C capabilities within the state, coordination with national S&C and CyberCX Practices and Functions, and by acting as a senior trusted advisor to the highest levels of CyberCX’s largest clients.
The Director S&C QLD is accountable for the financial performance of the S&C practice in the state, including growth of revenue, improvement of utilisation, and reduction of costs.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational direction for the S&C state Practice through leadership, collaboration and engagement of Practice team members to achieve CyberCX goals
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and thought leadership advocate, expanding the S&C Practice and providing industry expertise to both internal team members and external customers
- Provide insightful, informed, and impactful cyber security advice to Board-level and C-suite stakeholders at CyberCX’s highest-profile clients
- Drive business development activities by establishing and maintaining high-profile client relationships
- Oversee quality and commercial outcomes of the S&C Practice’s engagements across the state
- Maintain operational oversight of project scoping, scheduling, delivery, closeout, and customer satisfaction, and plan and coordinate resourcing at the state/territory level
- Lead local S&C Practice business development activities in alignment with national S&C Practice strategy and CyberCX account plans
- Identify, recommend, and establish innovative service offerings and ways to improve existing approaches through a thorough analysis and consultation process. Foster a culture of excellence. Challenge the way we do things and look for opportunities to improve on an ongoing basis
- Actively build cross-Practice and cross-Function collaboration with key leaders across CyberCX, and continuously look for ways to add value. Facilitate communication, partnerships and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers
- Lead, coach and build high performing S&C Practice teams by developing skills and increasing knowledge of CyberCX and S&C Practice products, services, capabilities
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, information systems, computer engineering or related field is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in professional services, cyber security and/or technology industry is preferred, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, planning, compliancy, and risk management
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with an ability to build credibility with senior leaders and executive stakeholders
