We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join our Managed Security Engineering team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working across a range of security technologies, and contributing to strong outcomes for customers.

You’ll be responsible for the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support of security and infrastructure solutions, while working closely with internal teams and customers to maintain secure and high-performing environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide support across infrastructure and security platforms, including network, systems, and cloud technologies
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and performance issues across customer environments
• Perform configuration, administration, and maintenance of infrastructure and security solutions
• Maintain system health through proactive monitoring, patching, and optimisation activities
• Contribute to incident response and troubleshooting, supporting root cause analysis and remediation
• Ensure adherence to ITIL-aligned incident, change, problem, and request management processes
• Work closely with customers to deliver timely and effective technical outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, controls, and operational workflows

What we're looking for:

• ~3+ years’ experience in security engineering, IT operations, or infrastructure roles
• Hands-on experience across network, systems, or cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across complex technical environments
• Understanding of security fundamentals and best practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection, or SIEM platforms
• Exposure to vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar
• ITIL Foundation certification or relevant vendor certifications
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
