About the role

To support our rapid growth, we are looking for exceptional people who are self-starters, with great written and verbal communications skills who are problem solvers, to join our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) practice as a Consultant.

We are looking for driven professionals who can use their broad cyber security knowledge and experience to deliver meaningful outcomes to our clients and work on interesting projects. What this role involves

• Supporting security projects including ISMS implementations and audits, cyber risk assessments against industry frameworks, develop incident response plans.
• Draft high-quality reports and presentations.
• Working with our clients to identify and develop cyber security improvements.
• We have a culture of building our team’s experience by contributing to the development of self and team members.
• Please note, due to the nature of this role, it is a mandatory requirement that all applicants are Australian citizens with the ability to hold an Australian Security Clearance. Only Brisbane based applicants will be considered for this role. We take security seriously. We require all employees to complete background checks (including police and global sanction list checks) annually.
• You will use your understanding of Cyber security, Risk Management and consulting skills to work with clients to address their Governance, Risk and Compliance challenges.

Skills & experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 1+ years’ experience in cyber security, ideally with experience working for a consulting firm, government department or large technology organisation.
• Broad knowledge across a range of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, ISO 22301 or ISM- highly desirable
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build strong relationships
• Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient
• Attentive to detail, proactive and organised
• Emotionally intelligent, you demonstrate empathy and connection.
