CyberCX is Australia’s leading independent cyber security services company, and we’re looking for a senior commercial leader to drive our most complex, multi-practice proposals.
As Director, Proposals, you will sit at the centre of our growth engine, leading high-value, strategic bids that shape national security, critical infrastructure and enterprise resilience outcomes across Australia.
This is not a coordination role.
This is leadership at the point of impact.
The Opportunity
You will lead complex proposal development across multiple practices, working closely with Executive Directors, Industry Leads, Practice SMEs and our presales teams to craft compelling, differentiated and winning responses.
You’ll ensure our solutions are commercially sound, technically robust, clearly articulated and aligned to client context, positioning CyberCX as the partner of choice.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading end-to-end development of strategic, high-value, multi-practice proposals
- Structuring compelling, client-centric responses and deal books
- Defining clear win themes and value propositions
- Providing conceptual solution leadership with technical oversight
- Coordinating cross-practice bid teams and managing timelines to deliver on time
- Ensuring quality, consistency and commercial rigour across submissions
- Identifying solution risks and ensuring scalable, sustainable outcomes
- Driving capability uplift in pre-sales and proposal excellence across the business
What We’re Looking For - Extensive senior leadership experience within cyber security professional services, presales or consulting
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in complex solution selling
- Exceptional executive stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
- Deep understanding across cyber security domains and the ability to quickly synthesise technical inputs into strategic narratives
- Strong risk management mindset in bespoke solution development
- Ability to lead diverse, high-performing cross-practice teams
- Outstanding written and visual communication skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguity while driving structured, high-quality outcomes
- Due to the nature of the work, Australian citizenship is required
Why This Role Matters
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology and commercial growth.
You will influence how CyberCX shows up to the market on its most significant opportunities — and directly impact the future direction of the business.
If you are motivated by complexity, enjoy shaping high-stakes engagements, and thrive in leadership environments where quality and precision matter, we would love to speak with you.
