About the role In this Enterprise Solutions Architect role, you will be responsible for scoping, designing and leading complex solutions and services that span the specialised capabilities of CyberCX business units (Practices). As a key member of a small team specialising in Enterprise and Security Architecture solutions, you will work as a trusted advisor both internally and with our customers. To achieve this, you will lead technical presales of large or complex programs and solutions end-to-end, making sure we continually strive for the right solution and best possible customer experience.
Whilst this role is predominantly a pre-sales consulting role, it is expected that the Enterprise Solutions Architect Principal Solution Architect will be engaged approximately 20% on client work to effectively undertake the end-to-end nature of the role, varying by engagement.

As Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will lead how CyberCX and our customers deliver against complex business and cyber security opportunities. As a key part of Australia’s leading cyber security company, you will provide industry and subject matter expertise, sector-leading thought leadership, delivered through strong customer engagement. Varying by engagement, you will undertake roles across the whole customer experience, working across pre-sales and ongoing oversight of front-line engagements with some of our biggest customers and engagements.
Additional responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Understand customers' needs – developing a detailed understating of their business, IT, and cyber security strategy – so you can contribute to and evolve these strategies by developing and prioritising their enterprise security architecture and security roadmaps
- Design, build, and oversee the implementation of cyber security solutions and services, incorporating enterprise and security architecture, in line with customer roadmaps and requirements
- Identify, recommend, and establish innovative service offerings and ways to improve existing approaches, through a thorough analysis and consultation process
- Collaborate actively across CyberCX, continuously seeking ways to add value, facilitating communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination to allow teams to optimally engage and service customers
- Lead the development of large-scale complex solutions (typically multi-domain/multi-Practice solutions) in major and strategic accounts, as well as strengthening existing customer relationships through strategic account planning and relationship development
- Partner with senior and executive customers to manage and enhance project lifecycles by developing high quality business solutions, leveraging business performance improvement approaches and frameworks, and ensuring timely execution of project deliverables
About you: Recognising that everyone has their own unique background and experience, we are keen to hear how you would fit or develop into our role – including your diverse experience, skills and qualifications. Ideally you already have 10 or more years’ experience working in cyber security, technology, or professional services industries.
Your ability to build credibility with senior leaders and technical experts underpins your success. You will have an extensive understanding of the technical or cyber security vendor landscape, understand the importance of data sovereignty, and how business is shaped by cyber, physical and personnel security.
Your other demonstrable attributes will include:
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to senior leaders with clarity.
- Adept abilities to think creatively whilst solving complex problems.
- Demonstrated experience in complex solution design and enterprise-scale problem solving, incorporating architectural patterns and principles (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA).
- Detailed understanding of cyber security, cloud security architecture, and extensive framework experience (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, ISM, PSPF, PCI DSS, CIS).
- Extensive knowledge across the cyber security vendor landscape and understanding of the importance of data sovereignty, corporate governance, physical and personnel security.
- Strong skills in analysis and problem-solving, building sustainable, scalable solutions and processes to meet complex strategic problems.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to demonstrate empathy, connection, and assertiveness, responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner.
- Effective skills in scheduling and coordinating complex work, incorporating high levels of independence.
- Understanding of and experience with the implementation of secure enterprise solution design, cloud technologies, and integration of critical business success factors.
- Familiarity with risk management practices, and the impact of cyber security controls (e.g., IDAM, WAF, IPS, EUBA, etc) on business outcomes.
- Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner.
- Experience developing policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures, with an in-depth understanding of their implementation.
