How you will make an impact
Lead and deliver highly complex, dynamic and sizable Google cloud projects.
Day to day you will:
- Plan projects, manage stakeholders, ensure project governance, conduct risk management, delivery management and quality assurance
- Plan and manage team resourcing, ensuring utilisation is aligned to the practice targets
- Ensure accurate reporting for team and customer deliverables
- Conduct pre-sales activity to ensure solutions and project scopes meet customer requirements and team capabilities
- Lead, coach and build high performing teams to enable learning, development, and capability uplift. Understand each team member’s skills, drivers and aspirations. Work with them ongoing to develop, raise capability, and build a career path and progression plan
- Enhance team’s effectiveness by taking ownership of team issues and goals. Create a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and accountability through consistent employee engagement
- Provide significant contribution to internal research and development, capability building, innovation and process improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development of customer relationships through direct customer support and working with Customer Sales, Customer Solutions and Marketing teams to support relevant activities
Skills & Qualifications - 6+ years’ experience working with Cloud GCP and Google Unified Security
- 6+ years in a leadership role
- Google Cloud professional certifications would be advantageous
- Consulting, implementation and migration knowledge and proven experience in the following:
- IaaS, PaaS & SaaS and related services
- Cloud Security and related technologies
- Windows/Linux
- Enterprise Networking
- Experience in architecture, design implementation and integration of public cloud, hybrid cloud and infrastructure solutions
- Experience with managing, coaching and mentoring team members
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner
