How you will make an impact
The Solutions Architect will be responsible for engaging with customers to deliver Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security and solutions projects
Day to day you will:
- Provide the very best subject matter expertise and advice to our customers
- Work through customer specifications and develop solutions in line with defined requirements – design and/or implement technical solutions
- Author documentation to the highest standard
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior client stakeholders
- Conduct customer meetings and workshops
- Manage client expectations, communicate effectively, and develop professional relationships with clients
- Work closely with team to ensure project delivery meet customer expectations
- Support the creation of reference architectures and new product offerings
- Be involved in IP development and repeatability
- Participate in technical pre-sales activities including proposal creation and peer review
- Actively collaborate across CyberCX, and continuously look for ways to add value. Facilitate communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with a diverse range of customers, and identify and explore opportunities within existing and new customers
- Ensure consulting services are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
Skills & Qualifications - Google Cloud Architect Professional Certified
- Consulting, implementation and migration knowledge and proven experience in the following:
- IaaS, PaaS & SaaS and related services
- Cloud Security and related technologies
- Windows/Linux
- Enterprise Networking
- 6+ years experience working with Cloud GCP and Google Unified Security advisory and architecture
- Broad experience and knowledge in hybrid and cloud technologies
- Able to work autonomously and use initiative to achieve desired outcomes
- Excellent collaboration skills; work well as part of a team
- Ability to communicate with structure, clarity, and precision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with pro-active approach with a can-do attitude
- Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner
