The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Manager for this fulltime, ongoing opportunity who will:

• Lead and oversee the organisation’s recruitment and talent acquisition processes
• Support leaders in making data-informed hiring and workforce planning decisions and ensure workforce planning aligns with operational needs
• Lead and manage employee relations matters including performance management
• Provide practical and commercially sound HR advice to managers in line with Australian employment law
• Maintain strong governance across HR processes including recruitment approvals, probation reviews, role classification and remuneration changes
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and employment frameworks remain compliant and up to date with applicable legislation
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes, systems and workflows across the employee lifecycle
• Support compliance with workplace health and safety obligations in accordance with applicable State & Federal legislation
• Promote a professional, accountable and high-performing workplace culture

What we’re looking for
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR management or senior HR advisory role
• Strong experience managing employee relations matters, workplace investigations and complex HR issues
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian employment law, including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards (Clerks Award highly desirable) and Fair Work Commission processes
• Experience supporting senior leadership teams and providing practical HR advice in operational environments
• Understanding of WHS obligations and experience working within multi-state workforce environments
• Pragmatic and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance compliance with operational needs
• Confident advising and influencing senior leaders on complex people matters
• Professional, calm and measured when managing sensitive or challenging situations
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced service environment
• Experience within professional services, contact centres or service delivery organisations (desirable)
• Exposure to supporting tender submissions (desirable)
• Experience working with broader Executive Leadership Team members (desirable)
