Customer Service Officer
With over 40 years’ experience, Oncall is a leading provider of language services across Australia. Our team of interpreters and translators service thousands of bookings each week across 200 languages. We work in partnership with our clients to provide responsive and high quality communication solutions.
About the opportunity
Working as part of our national customer service centre, this full-time, ongoing opportunity interacts with a range of customers, processing their requests and queries regarding face-to-face and telephone interpreting sessions. You will:
- Treat each caller like they’re your first for the day
- Work within established KPIs
- Share accurate information quickly, resolving queries at first point of contact
- Recognise and escalate complaints where appropriate
- Create and amend bookings using Oncall’s customised booking and CRM system.
Who we’re looking for With at least 12 months experience in a similar role, you’re known for building rapport quickly and meeting your customer’s needs.
You’re friendly and personable with a great phone manner. Your resilience and agility together with your attention to detail underscore your commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
In addition, you can show us you have the skills to:
- Connect with people of different backgrounds and levels
- Work co-operatively in a busy team environment while achieving shared goals
- Use a range of software applications in your daily work.
Flexibility to work between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday is essential.
