The opportunity:
The Visitor Experience Senior Officer (Snowsports, Retail and Rental) at Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is responsible for developing the rental and retail range and implementing products and services that will contribute to the overall success of the department.
During the snow season, the Visitor Experience Senior Officer will be responsible for supervising a small team of seasonal staff employed in the snowsports, rental and retail divisions In this vibrant position, you'll be at the heart of action, providing essential information and support to visitors, stakeholders, and the community. With the magnificent Mt Baw Baw landscape as your backdrop, each day promises a new challenge.

Key responsibilities include:
- Apply established policies, procedures and guidelines, exercising sound judgement to support day-to-day operational decisions and resolve service delivery issues.
- Coordinate and support staff across the Snowsports, Retail and Rental divisions by managing daily workflows, rostering and people-related functions, and working with resort entry staff to ensure appropriate staffing coverage
- Lead and support seasonal team members, during the winter season, and contribute to a positive, inclusive and collaborative team environment.
- Assist supervisors and management by providing operational analysis, advice and support for initiatives and activities.
- Provide accurate and timely visitor information services for Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort across summer and winter programs, services, commercial outlets and internal and external events
Skills, experience and qualifications: - Minimum 2 years prior experience in retail or rental environment.
- Computer Literacy: Competent in Word, Excel, and general apps/databases for daily operations.
- Prior experience working in a team environment delivery quality work outcomes
- Sound computer knowledge and administrative skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Location: Mt Baw Baw, Victoria
Hourly pay rate: Commencing from $35.47 per hour + casual loading & superannuation
