The Opportunity
We’re looking for a values led and people focused leader to proactively deliver high quality, inclusive and memorable visitor experiences across our Mt Baw Baw resort. If you thrive in dynamic frontline environments and love coaching teams to shine, this role is for you.
Reporting to the Head of Visitor Experience, the Food & Beverage Supervisor leads front of house food and beverage to ensure we provide memorable visitor experiences, You’ll be the calm, capable escalation point for our Food & Beverage team and a champion for service excellence, safety and collaboration.
The role provides day-to-day leadership, supervision and coordination of Food & Beverage team members, working closely with the Chef and Visitor Experience leadership to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, compliance with statutory requirements, and alignment with ARVʼs values and visitor experience standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate front of house food and beverage operations across ARV operated venues to deliver safe, high quality and consistent visitor experiences.
- Supervise, support and guide Food & Beverage team members, providing clear direction, coaching and feedback to support performance and development.
- Organise staffing, workflows and daily service delivery to ensure operational efficiency, service quality and compliance requirements are met.
- Resolve routine service delivery and operational issues within established guidelines, escalating complex matters as required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements and liquor licence conditions.
- Ensure venues, equipment and work areas are maintained in a safe, clean and serviceable condition, and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Respond professionally to visitor enquiries and complaints, providing accurate information and timely resolution in line with ARV expectations.
Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum three (3) yearsʼ experience leading a front of house team in a food and beverage, hospitality, events or similar environment
- Supervisor Food Handlers Certificate & current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Current Driverʼs Licence
- Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Strong leadership and team coordination capability within a service environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a respectful and inclusive approach
- Sound knowledge of food safety legislation, liquor licensing and hospitality compliance requirements
- Ability to resolve service delivery issues using judgement within established guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively and perform under pressure
- Competence in point of sale systems, cash handling and administrative processes
The successful candidate will be required to have: - Full Australian working rights.
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.
- Valid driver’s licence (Victorian preferred)
- Victorian Working with Children Check - Employee

Location: Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort, Victoria
Hourly rate: $56.49 - $60.78 (including casual loading) per hour assessed on skills and experience, plus superannuation
