The opportunity
Our Groomers workers alongside our Snowmakers to ensure our slopes reach their maximum potential. Working mostly throughout the night our Groomers is tasked with moving and smoothing out the snow to ensure our staff and guests can move safely around the resort and enjoy the slopes. To get the job done the Groomer will operate 2020 prinoth husky & 2010 prinoth bison.
As a Groomers you will be working outdoors so to keep you warm on those cold dark nights, we will kit you out with toasty warm snow pants, a jacket, and boots for the season!
The advantage of working nights means you’ll have the days to enjoy the resort activities such as skiing/snowboarding, Tank Hill terrain Park, tobogganing and snowshoeing.
Nestled only 2.5 hours from the heart of Melbourne, Mt Baw Baw is Melbourne’s closest downhill ski, snowboard, toboggan, and snow play resort....'make tracks' this winter for a unique employment opportunity.
Key accountabilities:
- Deliver excellence: Maintaining an even snow surface, and snow depth across ski terrain, pushing out man-made snow & maintaining XC trails
- Team work: Collaborate with the team, to ensure that all work undertaken is in accordance with regulations and that permits associated with the work have been issued and performed in a safe manner.
- Coordinate equipment: Oversee daily plant and equipment operations, including conducting safety checks of equipment.
What amazing skills and experience will score you this role? - Snow Groomer - 2+ years experience
- Experience working with heavy machinery
- Bulldozer ticket (desirable)
- Laser sharp attention to detail attention to detail and safety consciousness at all times
- A LOVE of the outdoors, including the rain, hail, and shine (and obviously SNOW)
- Available to work night, weekends and school holidays.
- Available from June - 30 September 2025 (or declared snow season)
The successful candidate will be required to: - have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type
- Have an Australian drivers licence (Victorian licence preferred)
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.

Salary Range: $41.79 includes casual loading
