The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established residential construction business delivering new homes to customers across Melbourne and Greater Geelong. They work across residential estates, supporting customers through the entire new home journey, from selecting the right design and matching it to their block, through to securing the sale.
They are now seeking an experienced New Homes Consultant to build and convert new business across North, South and West Melbourne and Greater Geelong. This role will suit a commercially minded sales professional who understands the new homes market and can leverage strong relationships with estate sales teams, developers, referral groups and finance brokers.
Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new home sales opportunities across your allocated territory
• Build and maintain strong relationships with estate sales teams, developers, sales channels and referral groups
• Develop and maintain relationships with finance brokers to generate and progress qualified leads
• Understand customer requirements, budgets and block characteristics to recommend suitable home designs
• Assess block sizes and site requirements when matching customers with appropriate designs
• Manage customers through the full sales process, from initial enquiry through to securing the sale
• Follow up leads and referral opportunities to maximise conversion
• Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records, with regular updates on pipeline and outcomes
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover and customer experience

About You

• Previous experience in new homes sales, residential construction, property sales or a closely related sector
• Strong knowledge of residential estates and developers
• Confident understanding of house designs, floorplans and block sizes
• Proven ability to match home designs to customer needs and suitable blocks
• Established relationships across sales channels, referral networks and/or finance brokers
• Strong business development, relationship management and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication, follow-up and customer service skills
• Commercially focused with a demonstrated ability to generate and convert sales
• Comfortable managing a broad territory across Melbourne and Greater Geelong
