About the Role

As a Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, choice, and wellbeing. Working as part of a dedicated residential team, you'll build genuine relationships with residents and help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
We have Permanent Part-time and Casual positions available at our newest Shenton Park location.
Available shifts include:
- Morning shifts: 7:00am – 1:00pm and 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Afternoon shifts: 3:00pm – 9:00pm and 3:00pm – 10:15pm
- Active Overnight shifts: 9:15pm – 7:15am
Key Responsibilities - Provide personal care support including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, hoisting, and other daily living activities
- Assist residents with medication administration and monitoring
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Assist with catheter care, enteral management and basic wound care
- Encourage participation in activities that promote inclusion, independence, and achievement of individual goals
- Report and document changes in resident wellbeing and health status
- Maintain accurate records and resident documentation
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Must-Haves - Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- A genuine passion for supporting people living with disability
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
- NDIS Orientation Certificate (or ability to obtain)
