About the Role

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll be a valued member of our Residential Services team, providing essential domestic support that enhances residents' comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life. You'll help maintain clean and welcoming living environments while delivering services in a respectful, person-centred manner that supports individual needs and preferences.
There are permanent part-time opportunities available at our Shenton Park location. Shifts are available from Monday to Sunday from 7:00am – 3:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domestic assistance, including light household cleaning and general housekeeping
- Support meal preparation and kitchen duties as required
- Follow individual care plans and workplace procedures
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, and changes in resident wellbeing
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with the wider Residential Services team
- Build positive relationships with residents while promoting dignity and independence
- Complete documentation and reporting requirements accurately and promptly
Must-Haves - Current Driver's Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker’s Orientation Module Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organised, and committed to providing high-quality support
- Understanding of safe work practices and infection control principles
