About the Role
As a Facilities Officer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our facilities and fleet operations running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to for coordinating maintenance, responding to requests, and ensuring our sites are safe, functional, and well maintained.
This role combines coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great service.
This is a permanent full-time position with 75 hours per fortnight, based in Belmont.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage facilities and fleet requests via inbox and phone, prioritising urgent issues
- Coordinate reactive and scheduled maintenance across MSWA sites
- Engage and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Schedule routine servicing and ensure compliance with service agreements
- Manage fleet administration, including bookings, repairs, insurance, and vehicle changeovers
- Support security access control and assist with CCTV requests
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, assets, and contractor documentation
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and service delivery
Must-haves - Experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or a similar role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Solid computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Current driver’s licence
