About the Role As a Residential Services Manager, you will lead the daily operations, care quality, and culture of our 20‑bed residential facility in Shenton Park.
You’ll ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and empowering support that aligns with the NDIS Standards and MSWA’s commitment to excellence.
You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team—including Residential Coordinators, Nurses, Care Support Workers, and Domestic and Recreation staff—fostering a positive, collaborative environment where staff feel supported and residents experience dignity, choice, and independence.
This role is central to managing resources, driving service quality, overseeing clinical governance, and ensuring residents achieve meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Client Support & Quality Care: - Develop and monitor resident outcomes in line with individual goals and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
- Ensure residents’ rights to dignity, respect, independence, choice, and control are upheld
- Oversee access to required services and maintain communication with clinical, medical, and legal representatives
- Facilitate supports and interventions, promoting independence and wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with MSWA documentation, policies, and care procedures
- Participate in case conferences, MDT meetings, and resident meetings
Team Leadership: - Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of residential staff
- Support staff development and maintain a positive, values‑driven team culture
- Ensure staff have access to safe equipment and resources
- Conduct probation reviews and annual performance conversations
- Model and champion MSWA’s Core Values
Administration & Compliance: - Manage budgets, occupancy, waitlists, and operational KPIs
- Oversee rosters, leave, and timesheets in partnership with Residential Coordinators
- Produce accurate reports and participate in Quality Assurance activities and audits
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and clinical governance
- Participate in on‑call responsibilities as required
Must‑haves - Certificate III or IV in Disability Services (or equivalent)
- Experience managing an accommodation site supporting people with disability
- Experience in assessment of needs and care planning
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience working with disability and/or neurological clients
- Computer literacy and confidence with documentation
- Current C‑class Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & NDIS Orientation Certificate
- Commitment to MSWA’s Code of Conduct, WHS, and Duty of Care requirements
Nice‑to‑haves - Nursing qualification or tertiary qualification in a related field
- Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, Quality & Safeguarding, and disability legislation
- Experience with crisis management, accreditation, budget oversight, or change management
- Understanding of WHS frameworks and clinical governance
