Make an Impact as a Payroll Administration Officer at MSWA
At MSWA, we’re dedicated to delivering personalised care and support to individuals living with neurological conditions including MS, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Motor Neuron Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, and Stroke. We’re currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Payroll Administration Support Officer to join our team.
About the role and Key Responsibilities
- Assist with fortnightly payroll processing, including data entry, timesheet verification, leave and allowances.
- Process ad hoc pay runs and adjustments as directed.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure payroll activities are carried out in accordance with relevant industrial instruments, legislation and company policies.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide administrative support to Senior Payroll Officer & Payroll Officer during payroll cycles.
- Assist with workload coverage during peak periods or staff absences.
- Maintain accurate payroll system records and documentation
Essential requirements - Prior 2 years’ experience in a similar role High level of attention to details.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and data management.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be organised, prioritise work, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with relevant stakeholders and collaboration across teams.
- The ability to approach the role with energy and enthusiasm.
- Proficiency in Hr3 and other relevant information systems. The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in MS Excel including pivot tables and V lookups.
- NDIS Clearance and NDIS Workers Orientation Module
