About the Role
As a Residential Nurse at our Fern River Residential located in Wilson, you’ll provide exceptional care and support to clients living with neurological conditions such as MS, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Motor Neurone Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, and Stroke.
You’ll play a vital role in improving quality of life, advocating for autonomy, dignity, and respect, and fostering a nurturing environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Client Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct assessments and monitor residents’ health, responding promptly to changes.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualised care plans.
• Clinical Care Delivery: Manage medications, wound care, and continence care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
• Team Support: Provide guidance and support to Care Support Workers and deliver training to others.

What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:

• Registered Nurse - with current AHPRA registration
• Commitment to best practice services
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR (we can help if you don’t have these yet!)
• Current ‘A’ Class Driver’s Licence

Nice-to-haves:

• Working with Children Check
• Basic understanding of neurological conditions
