About the Role 
As the Asset Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits and inspections across MSWA’s facilities, assets, and fleet. You will play a critical role in ensuring our buildings, medical equipment, and operational infrastructure are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standard. 
You’ll be hands-on across a variety of systems, including electrical, hydraulic, fire, mechanical, and security, contributing to asset management, preventative maintenance, and capital works projects. 

  
We’re looking for someone with: 

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach 
• Experience in facility or asset auditing and compliance 
• Knowledge of Australian Building codes and safety regulations 
• Excellent organisational and communication skills 
• A passion for improving services that support people in need 
• A commitment to upholding MSWA’s standards of quality, safety, and service.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Conduct building and asset condition audits across all MSWA sites. 
• Assess compliance and functionality of infrastructure and specialist medical equipment. 
• Maintain accurate asset records using our work management system. 
• Develop audit tools, inspection schedules, and reporting templates. 
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure quality of completed work. 
• Assist with the scope, planning, and supervision of maintenance and capital works projects. 
• Support the upkeep of MSWA fleet assets, including inspections and reporting. 
• Engage with internal departments to ensure facilities meet operational needs. 

Qualifications: 

• Relevant qualification in engineering, building services, or facilities management (or equivalent experience) 
• Experience using asset or maintenance management systems 
• Valid WA Driver’s Licence 
• Current Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
