We're in search of a caring individual to join us as a Care Support Worker at the Hamilton Hill Facility on a casual basis. Our facility provides housing for up to 11 residents with various neurological conditions, offering a tailored alternative for younger individuals at risk of entering aged-care facilities due to their high care needs.
We prioritise residents' privacy while promoting social interaction in communal areas, creating a welcoming and homely environment integrated with the local community.
As a Care Support Worker, your core activities will include:

• Providing essential personal care such as bathing and dressing to promote residents' health and well-being.
• Assisting with medication administration to ensure residents' medical requirements are met effectively.
• Undertaking household chores such as meal service and cleaning, contributing to residents' comfort and environment.
• Organising and facilitating social activities and outings to encourage community engagement and interaction among residents.
• Following individualised care plans to address the specific needs and goals of each resident.

Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability for morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence without restrictions
• First Aid certificate issued within the last 12 months (assistance provided if needed)
• Previous experience in a care support role
• Positive attitude
• Certificate III in a relevant discipline
